Now this case is personal to me, I know the victim. Amanda was murdered by her ex James Ramey. He is the father of their son Winston Ramey. Early Tuesday morning James Ramey broke into Mandi's home. She lived with her father, and he had just left for work. Ramey kicked in the door and fatally shot Mandi in her chest. After shooting her he then took their 10 month old son Winston and Mandi's step mom Debra and fled to Indiana.. Before leaving Ramey had Deb call 911, she wasn't allowed to give any details other than someone had been shot. When police arrived Mandi was still alive and she asked the officer where Winston was. This led to a search in the home, he was not there so an amber alert was immediately issued. Mandi died shortly after at the hospital. Ramey was found in Fulton County, Indiana with Winston and Debra. Both Winston and Debra were unharmed. Mandi had recently took out a protection order against Ramey and started dating someone else. We believe her posting on facebook the evening before she was killed that she was in a new relationship set Ramey off. Ramey had broken the protection order already and was due in court shortly after he killed Mandi. He should of been in jail for breaking the protection order, but no he was free and he murdered Mandi. Rest in heaven Mandi..you will get justice!
