Sierah Joughin

This is a local girl. I do not personally know her but it still hits home. Close to home. Sierah was kidnapped while riding her bicycle near her rural home. She was later found buried in a shallow grave in a cornfield. Her autopsy revealed that she had been suffocated to death. She died over a period of minutes from a plastic ball gag placed in her mouth. Sierah was only 20 years old. She was riding her bike with her boyfriend and he had left to go home. When Sierah didn't return home or answer any phone calls the police were notified. Now we don't ever have those crimes around here. Last I knew I was the last person around here to get kidnapped and that was in the mid nineties. There was no evidence of sexual assault in her autopsy report. Now the really creepy part, the man who murdered her James Worley of Delta, Ohio had a secret room in a barn outfitted with restraints and a freezer lined with carpet that had blood inside of it, The freezer had been covered by hay bales behind which several pairs of women's underwear was found. Worley served three years in prison after he was convicted of abducting a 26 year old woman in 1990 who was biking alone near Toledo, Ohio. She says he hit and handcuffed her. She was able to get away. Worley stated after his previous abduction conviction that he learned from each abduction he had done and the next one he was going to bury. Sierah was last seen alive riding her bike on July 19th. Her bike was later found in a cornfield after her mother made the missing person report. Police say Worley had marks on his arms and bruises on his lower legs. He first told police that he had been riding his motorcycle and that he lost his helmet, screwdriver, sunglasses, and fuses after it broke down. Those items were found at the scene where Sierah's bike was uncovered. James Worley is currently in the county jail in Stryker, Ohio. According to his charges, which there is several..it look's as if Sierah may have been pregnant although that has never been publicly stated. Rest in peace Seirah Joughin.
